At Montem Academy, we focus on vocabulary development throughout our curriculum.
We believe that vocabulary is the foundation of all language, providing pupils with the necessary building blocks to express themselves, connect with other, develop critical thinking and confidence, and build life skills and personal relationships.
To support our pupils we have create year group specific vocabulary books which provides a comprehensive overview of the vocabulary the pupils will learn and use across all subject areas.
