YEAR 5 & 6

YEAR 4 AND 5 BASKETBALL FESTIVAL

On Tuesday 22nd March Montem Academy attended this years Slough School Sports Networks years 4 and 5 Basketball event held at Ditton Park Academy.

All the children were proud to participate in the event as it was hosted by players from the Thames Valley Cavaliers basketball team.

Our Montem pupils took part in 12 different basketball skill challenges, finishing off with 3 small sided half court 3 on 3 matches. Two of which they won!

KS2 Girls Football Festival

On Thursday 6th October Montem Academy were invited to compete in the Slough School Sport Network, KS2 Girls Football Event.

Our year 5 and 6 girls enjoyed a selection of fun warm up challenges and skill activities for the first hour which were delivered by Reading Football Club.

The girls then played in small sided football matches against other schools in Slough. 

They were a credit to the school and won two of their matches!
