In the final week of last half term, the children celebrated dinosaur day by coming in dressed as dinosaurs and creating a lot of dinosaur crafts. They really enjoyed the topic of dinosaurs and this can be seen through the amazing passport projects that they children created at home. Thank you so much to all the parents who came in and supported the activities on our history day. It was very helpful to have you working with your children and the other members of the class.
This term we will be studying the UK. The children will be learning about the differences between towns, villages and cities. They will learn about the four countries in the UK, including their capital cities and features such as mountains and water.
In Science, we will be starting the topic of animals. The children will learn to categorise various animals into mammals, reptiles, amphibians, birds and fish as well as deciding if they are herbivores, omnivores or carnivores. They will also be labelling the animals and the various parts of their bodies.
