Year 6 visit Eton College
The children in Year 6 had a wonderful time visiting Eton College to learn more about the Egyptians. They explored the Museum of Antiquities and looked closely at artefacts that have survived thousands of years. This included mummified heads and hands! The trip also involved the children taking part in various activities in which they had to decipher hieroglyphics. The children thoroughly enjoyed viewing and learning about the Ancient civilisation that had thrived for over three thousand years.
The trip was a huge success as Ms Saskia, who led the workshop, commented on how knowledgeable and well behaved our pupils were. An excellent day out!
