Year 4 travelled far and wide this week exploring art originating from different countries. First stop was Egypt where the children were invaded by Scarab beetles! The only way to defeat them was to make their own army of Scarab beetles which were more beautiful and colorful! Whilst in Egypt, the children also explored traditional jars and hieroglyphics before finally jetting off to Greece. During their final visit, the children created intricate and creative traditional Greek designs on vases. It was very tricky but the children excelled and showed their true inner artist!
