Beech class enjoyed learning about Remembrance Day and the importance of the Poppies being symbolic to show that we are thinking of the soldiers who fought a long time ago. During our morning, we held a minute’s silence to remember the fallen from many conflicts. The children made poppies and heard why we take the time to be silent.
The day before the national charity event Children In Need the Nursery pupils had the pleasure to meet the real life Pudsey Bear who visited us. The children learned how the charity supports the children who really need help and came up with ideas how to make them happy. Pudsey Bear was amazed with the pictures they made!
On Children In Need day Nursery children arrived dressed up, proudly donated £1 for the charity and participated in range of “spotty activities”.
