In R Time this week the children had fun rolling and making the longest snakes that they could and working in pairs to make different parts of a snail. The children are building up skills of making eye contact, using their partner’s names and working well as a team. We have seen a fantastic improvement in the children’s social skills already.
In science the children have continued to investigate the senses, with lessons about sight, taste and smell. They have investigated what it would be like without the senses by blind tasting fruits and learning key vocabulary such as sweet, sour, bitter and salty.
We are very pleased that children are beginning to bring in their passports projects. There are some very impressive efforts already. Keep up the good work!
