Road Safety

Did you know that road crashes are one of the biggest causes of serious injury among children and young people?

As a part of School Road Safety campaign, Montem school councillors conducted a survey in November 2019.  The aim of our survey was to improve road safety in close proximity of Montem Academy by reducing excessive speeding, avoiding inappropriate parking and educating young children on the importance of road safety.  The school councillors took part in these surveys to highlight to children in the school the dangers on the road and encourage best practice for children to stay safe on the road!
