This week in year 6, we have been learning about the function of our blood. We learnt some rather mind blowing facts about different blood cells - did you know that there are about 5 million red blood cells in just one drop of blood that measures one millimetre across?! We also learnt about the functions of the blood cells and why they are so important and debunked the myth that our blood in our veins isn’t actually blue!
