Year 2 have had an exciting week full of new learning. They have been writing persuasive letters to Ms Probert. They are working to persuade her to allow them to visit Buckingham Palace. To do this, they have used conjunctions, rhetorical questions and factual information. They have also edited their writing to ensure that they have used all the basic skills such as full stops, capital letters and finger spaces.
The Year 2 mathematicians have been working with a range of 3D shapes. Through exploration, they have learned about faces, edges and vertices.
The Year 2 scientists have had an exciting week looking at the seeds they planted two weeks ago. They have made observations and have written about their growth using scientific vocabulary. They also had lots of fun planting flowers in the KS1 flower beds.
Well done Year 2!
