Going Around In Circles
Ever since we came back from the summer break, the children in Year 6 have been learning about the role of the heart and this week we were investigating how blood is circulated around the body. Rather than just talking about it in the classroom, we decided to make the best of the ‘good weather’ and go outside to act it out in person with the children taking on the roles of the heart, lungs and the blood itself. It was a fantastic learning opportunity for the children who were amazed at what happens inside our bodies every time we breathe in and out!
