Year 2 have had an exciting week full of new learning.
Year 2 writers wrote and edited their setting descriptions of London. They worked creatively to add expanded noun phrases, onomatopoeia and similes into their writing. This has helped them to create exciting and engaging setting descriptions!
Year 2 mathematicians have worked with a variety of money. They have learnt the difference between pounds and pence and through exploration, they have understood how to compare and exchange money.
Year 2 readers have almost completed reading Emma Jane’s Aeroplane! This week they practiced the skill of sequencing and determining whether something is true or false.
Well done Year 2 for another fantastic week of learning!
