Friday 11th June

As part of our ‘Multicultural Day’ the children in Year 6 spent Friday this week looking at architecture from a range of different cultures around the world and how the design of buildings can be influenced by its language, art and even food.  As part of the day, the children used famous landmarks, such as the Colosseum in Rome and the Taj Mahal in India, as inspiration for their own creations which they made out of straws, lolly sticks and blu tack.  It was a lovely to see the children working so well together and using the skills they have acquired in Maths and R Time to work as a team.
