Action 4: Bushcraft
Curriculum
Action 4: Bushcraft
To provide pupils with the opportunity to participate in Bush Craft lessons.
Spending time in nature is an invaluable experience that can have profound, far-reaching benefits for young people. By encouraging our pupils to immerse themselves in the great outdoors, learning practical skills like wilderness survival, plant identification, and outdoor navigation, we can instil a deep appreciation and respect for the natural world. This hands-on engagement with the environment not only promotes physical health through increased activity and time spent away from screens, but also nurtures mental well-being by reducing stress, boosting mood, and cultivating a sense of wonder and tranquility.
